A classic piece of Corgi history, the Radio Rescue Land Rover 416 debuted in 1959 with its distinctive roof-mounted sign and RAC branding. This 'Series 1' model retained the tinplate tilt from its predecessor while adding an aerial, with production reaching over 200,000 units by 1962. The 1962 upgrade to the 416S brought a 'Series 2' body complete with working suspension and moulded interior. Though production numbers remained modest at just over 200,000 until 1965, this model remains a sought-after collectible in the Corgi range.
