Description
Home to England’s largest National Park, the Lake District is a walker’s paradise, a great place to escape the pressures of daily life and enjoy some truly magical scenery. This puzzle captures some of the region’s most evocative and popular places; from top centre they are. Mt. Helvellen (blended into Glenridding), below to the left is Brantwood (Ruskin’s home), Wray Castle, Ashness Bridge with Pooley Bridge hiding behind Rydal Mount. Beneath this is Derwent Water, with boats from Coniston and Windermere and a boat House from Ullswater. On the bottom level is Dove Cottage (Wordsworth’s house on the edge of Grasmere), St Michael & All Angels Church, Hawkshead, Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway, Bridge House Ambleside and Hill Top, Sawrey (Beatrix Potter’s House).
