Revell Color is a synthetic resin enamel paint that does not attack the plastic surface of plastic models. Many other materials can also be painted from the 14 ml paint can, which is popular with many hobbyists. All colors - except signal color - can be mixed with each other and can be diluted with Revell Color Mix.
The paint can be applied not only with a brush, but also with a spray gun. Revell Painta Clean is used for cleaning the brushes and Revell Airbrush Clean for the spray gun.
This shade is used:
- in markings for military aircraft
- as a visual aid for military aircraft, particularly at the US Alaska Air Command
- partly also on fighter planes of the 1950s (attachment: wing tips, vertical stabilizers, horizontal stabilizers and rear fuselage sections)
- as exterior paint for radio-controlled aircraft of the USAF and US Navy
